At ScentShop, we strive to provide you with the best experience and carefully curated fragrances. However, due to the nature of our products and hygiene considerations, our return and refund policies are outlined below.
🚫 General Return Policy
- All sales are final. Due to hygiene and safety concerns, we do not accept returns or offer refunds once a fragrance product has been delivered.
- Fragrances are classified as cosmetic items. We cannot ensure the quality of returned products, and therefore, returns are not accepted for reasons of personal preference, change of mind, or dissatisfaction with fragrance.
- We strongly encourage customers to read product descriptions carefully and reach out if you need help choosing the right scent.
🔁 Return, Replacement & Refund Policy
At ScentShop®, we take great care to ensure your orders are packed and shipped securely. However, in rare cases of transit damage or issues, we do offer returns or replacements — subject to the following conditions:
✅ Covered Under Return/Replacement
We accept return or replacement requests only in the following cases:
- Severe physical damage (e.g., broken bottles, shattered caps, crushed packaging).
- Major leakage where the bottle is nearly empty.
- Delivery of incorrect product.
To be eligible:
- A full unboxing video (continuous and uncut) from the moment of delivery is mandatory.
- Include clear photographs showing the issue.
- Report the problem within 24 hours of delivery.
⚠️ Very Important
If the outer box is soaking wet or smells strongly of fragrance, do not accept the package. This is a likely sign of leakage or damage.
In such cases, immediately start recording a video while accepting delivery. If this video is not provided, we will not be able to process a return or refund.
If your request meets the above criteria and is approved, we will arrange a replacement.
If the item is unavailable, we will suggest the best possible alternatives — the final choice rests with the customer.
❌ Not Covered Under Return/Replacement
- Minor scratches or superficial cosmetic marks on bottles/caps.
- Slight leakage around the cap due to transit pressure.
- Opened or used products.
- Issues reported after 48 hours of delivery.
- Missing unboxing video or incomplete proof.
🕒 Return/Exchange Window
- Return/exchange requests must be raised within 5 days of delivery.
- Products must be unused, and in original condition and packaging.
- Exchange requires placing a new order; the original will be refunded upon return approval.
💰 Refunds
- Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days after we receive the returned item.
- Refunds will be made to your original payment method.
- If you haven’t received your refund after 5 business days, contact us at support@scentshop.in
Refund conditions:
- If a replacement is not available, we will offer alternatives, or you may opt for a full refund.
- If we cannot ship the product, a 100% refund will be issued.
- If your address is outside our delivery zone, you will receive a full refund.
- If you’ve paid the ₹100 COD confirmation amount and later refuse the order or it is returned undelivered, the ₹100 is non-refundable.
- For prepaid orders:
- If already shipped, a deduction of ₹100 will apply.
- If not shipped, a 2% transaction charge will be deducted.
❌ Invalid Reasons for Return or Refund
- “Changed my mind” after placing the order.
- Refusal to accept delivery without valid reason.
- Customers are expected to place orders only when fully certain, as placing an order forms a legally binding contract with ScentShop®.
❌ Cancellations
- You can request cancellation before dispatch by contacting us.
- Once the order is shipped, cancellations are not possible.
